SISTUHS
A dual-portrait identity for SISTUHS, a sisterhood and community service organization established in 1992 — celebrating Black womanhood through two interchangeable character marks: curly afro puffs in a magenta-to-violet gradient, and a gold-leaf headwrap silhouette.
Logo System
Two alternate character lockups carry the identity: a hand-drawn woman with voluminous afro puffs and bold lashes rendered in a pink-to-purple gradient above an arched SISTUHS wordmark, and a companion silhouette in a leaf-patterned gold headwrap with hoop earrings.

Typography
The pairing that extends the wordmark’s voice into headlines and body copy.
Poppins' bold geometric rounds echo the arched, chunky SISTUHS wordmark — confident and friendly without losing polish.
Inter's clean, even letterspacing mirrors the tracked-out 'EST. 1992' line and keeps organizational copy crisp at small sizes.
Usage Standards
Always
- Keep the magenta-to-violet gradient flowing left-to-right across the mark
- Treat both character variants (afro puffs, headwrap) as equal official lockups
- Set 'EST. 1992' in black, letterspaced, centered under the wordmark
- Place the full-color marks on white or very light backgrounds
Never
- Recolor the hair or headwrap artwork with off-brand hues
- Flatten the gradient to a single flat pink
- Redraw, crop, or separate the eyes from the puffs in variant one
- Squeeze the arched wordmark straight or stretch it disproportionately
